Knights of Columbus - Good Samaritan Council

First and foremost, a hearty Thank You to the Brother Knights who devoted their time and talent to painting the Blessed Sacrament Adoration Chapel last weekend.

Good Samaritan Council 13096 has committed to regularly spend a designated hour with the Lord in Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration for the Good of the Order. At this time, we need several individual Brother Knight commitments to this ministry. We plan to begin this permanent ministry by Friday, September 11, 2009.

Logistics: The Holy Name of Jesus Blessed Sacrament Chapel is open seven days a week, 24 hours a day, except during Mass times and the Triduum. The Chapel must always have at least one person present with our Lord. The scheduled time may be shared with other adorers. With over 50 confirmed substitute adorers, occasional absences are not a problem.

Please pray about your commitment to this ministry. Here are the two currently open hours to be designated the Knights of Columbus Adoration hours:
1. Every Friday, 2:00 AM to 3:00 AM
2. Every Friday, 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Your weekly, monthly or quarterly time commitment is directly proportional to the number of Knights who commit to regularly spending one hour with the Lord. For example, if just 13 Knights designate the same hour, each individual time commitment is one hour every 13 weeks or 4 hours per year.

To designate which hour you and or your family members will dedicate to the Lord by your participation in this ministry, please reply to hnojkc@frontiernet.net by Wednesday, September 9, 2009. I will assemble the KC Adoration Hour adorer list and submit the list to the Holy Name Adoration Chapel Coordinator. You will receive a confirmation message from me.
